The Full Story
Hi, I’m Noriko Taki, an artist fueled by a lifelong passion for creating and bringing ideas to life. I was born in Japan and from a young age, I was captivated by the magic of art and design, which led me to pursue a career in the creative field. My journey began in Japan, where I won top honors for my metal sculpture at the All Japan High School Student Art Exhibition. This early recognition inspired me to study in New York City, where I dove deep into the world of contemporary art, refining my craft and broadening my artistic horizons.
Outside of my formal training, I’m also a huge fan of Japanese anime and video games, which have been a major influence on my work. I love bringing my favorite characters and scenes to life through costume-making and prop creation—projects that have even earned a spot in the *Guinness World Records* and been featured on Adam Savage’s show. Whether it’s sculpting, designing, or creating detailed cosplay, I thrive on exploring new ways to push the boundaries of creativity. My work is a blend of artistic expression, technical precision, and pure imagination, and I’m always excited to embark on the next creative challenge.
